During the 1979 Rugby 7's tournament in Northern Ireland, Paul was organising the transport to get everyone to the competition. We were all  scattered in different locations, so Griff, being in charge, came up with a novel way to get us all there.  Whilst Hereford, 3 Para and the like arrived by bus he thought we would arrive in style - as only 7 RHA could do.

We came in via two Wessex Helicopters to the jeers of all the other teams.  Dropped us off with all our kit and took off again. We strutted across the airfield, and of course went on to win the tournament.
