20 August 2021 - Stuart's friend Pete here. Just a quick thank you for today’s service and function.
I had known Paul through Stuart for over 22 years and considered him a great pal but most importantly a man of men. He made a huge impact on me, he was an immense character and his memory will live on forever.
Everything ran perfectly thanks to your planning and organising skills, it was such a great send off for Paul and you should be rightly proud.
I had a chat at the club with Chris Chambers who was the flag bearer from the local Parachute Regiment Association Branch and wanted to drop him a quick email to pass on thanks for what he does, is there any chance that you could forward this to me?
Once again thankyou for making today as special as it was, a sad day in part but also one of great reflection and celebration for those fortunate to have known your brother. Best regards, Pete Merritt
